Can you fill all nine cells? F1 Grid is a daily "immaculate grid" style puzzle for Formula 1 fans. Every day you get a fresh 3x3 grid where each row and each column carries a category — a team, a nationality, a championship achievement, a career milestone. To fill a cell, you must name a Formula 1 driver who satisfies both the row category and the column category that intersect there. Each cell allows exactly one guess, so every answer counts.
Click any cell to open the driver search, type a name, and lock in your answer. If the driver matches both categories, the cell turns green; if not, the cell is spent. There are no second chances on a cell, which makes F1 Grid a different kind of challenge from our other daily games: it rewards careful thinking before you commit. The categories draw on the full breadth of Formula 1 history. One day you might need a driver who raced for both Ferrari and McLaren; the next, a German driver with a race win, or a world champion who also drove for Williams. The intersections are where the game gets interesting — plenty of fans can name Ferrari drivers, but naming a Ferrari driver who is also Brazilian and has a pole position takes deeper knowledge.
Scan the whole grid before answering anything. Some intersections have dozens of valid answers while others have only a handful, so identify the hardest cell first and make sure you don't "spend" its rare answer somewhere easier. Journeyman drivers with long careers across many teams are the connoisseur's pick — a driver like Fernando Alonso or Rubens Barrichello, who raced for several top teams across decades, can unlock intersections that stump players who only think of each driver's most famous seat.
Era knowledge is the other differentiator. Modern fans reach for current grid drivers, but many intersections are far easier with drivers from the 1970s, 80s and 90s. Brushing up on championship-winning teams' full driver histories — every driver who ever raced for Ferrari, McLaren, Williams, Lotus, Brabham — pays off day after day.
